About Me

After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a minor in Professional Writing, Joshen Mantai knew she wanted storytelling to be a part of her future career. From writing album reviews at her campus newspaper, the Daily Nexus, to profiling celebrities like Sabrina Carpenter for FLAUNT Magazine, she found a passion in using words to artistically tell others’ stories.

This eventually led Joshen to pursue a Master of Art’s in Public Relations & Advertising at the University of Southern California, where she will graduate in the spring of 2024. She has also developed skills in multimedia and marketing, working in social media for varying companies, including her campus newspaper, a sustainable food-based start-up, a celebrity editorial brand, and more.

Her most recent experience as a Metadata QA intern at Peacock exposed her to metadata for films and series launching on streaming platforms and solidified her desire to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

When Joshen’s not frantically writing her next story or copyediting a social media campaign, you can find her playing tennis, trying new local restaurants, or catching up on the latest TV shows and films. Her recent favorites include Ginny & Georgia, Wednesday, and the Sex Lives of College Girls.
